The Brazilian Plume has adorned our garden with its brilliant red spikes for over 25 years. This tropical shrub is easy to grow and flowers freely throughout the year.

Removal of spent flower spikes and light pruning throughout the year create more flowers and better shape.

It is best grown in dappled shade but will grow in full sun as long as it receives ample moisture and mulching. As an interior plant, it requires a bit more light to adequately flower. Regular feedings keep it happy and growing at its peak.
