A native of Asia, this little Dendrobium, with its pudgy, fluted, twiggy-looking stems, creates an explosion of dainty blossoms. Although ephemeral, cooler temperatures inspire numerous flushes. In flower, the Pigeon Orchid creates a bridal veil of the crystalline white blossoms.

Epiphytic, this one can be mounted in a basket, grown in a pot or attached to a decorative plaque. It requires bright, indirect light. Use liquid fertilizers at half strength. When grown in media, allow it to dry out for a few days between waterings.
